The Workhorse is a true professional-grade banjo at what we believe is an affordable price. We are proud to say this banjo is built in our shop in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

This custom Workhorse MG-3 features nickel plated hardware and a mahogany neck, creating the sweet, warm tone which defines the bluegrass sound. Inlaid with mother of pearl Flying Eagle pattern in an ebony board and double cut peg-head. Two white/black/white concentric rings in the mahogany resonator contribute to the vintage vibe of this model.

The tone ring is up-graded to an HR-30 sitting on the Huber “Vintage” 3-ply maple rim. It is finished in natural mahogany stain and satin lacquer. Reproduction grained ivoroid tuner buttons complete the vintage look.

It is set-up with a Huber 5/8 bridge and Huber head and capo spikes at A and B.
