Here is a great example of a “found in the attic” prewar 5-string banjo.  The only work done to this banjo was installing a new head and bridge. Maple neck and resonator with original 1/4″-rod tone ring. All nickel hardware, including the 5-string tension hoop, is original to the banjo. No evidence of re-plating or re-finish work. Belt buckle wear on back of resonator. Neck has original frets, 2-tab tuners, 5th peg and pip.  Includes original case.
