Original PB-3 prewar flathead! One-piece flange, 3 lb heavy weight high-profile 20 hole dull face flathead tone ring. Uncut label, nickel plated hardware. All hardware is correct for the 1930’s and appear to be original to the banjo. No refinishing or alterations have been done to the rim. Mahogany resonator features white/black/white concentric rings and standard single white binding. The resonator has been refinished quite some time ago. Chalk/paint FON appears to have been re-applied at some point. Presto tailpiece has been punched for the third string. Frank Neat 5-string neck with style 3 leaves and bows pattern and V2-tuners. Newer hardshell case Extremely good sounding and powerful banjo.
