It doesn’t get any more original than this! This is the first 5-string, one-piece flange flathead Gibson produced. This one has a heavy weight, high profile, No-Hole, nickel plated tone ring. Original mahogany neck with style 3 inlays on a Brazilian board. The resonator is near perfect with a pristine chalked FON on the inside. The rim is beautiful with a full warranty label and the correct FON stamp font. All hardware is nickel plated and 100% original to this banjo which includes the 5-string tension hoop and 5-string Presto tailpiece. No refinishing or re-plating. This banjo is near mint condition (I think it had the original air in the case when I found it.) It is currently set-up with a new head, bridge and geared 5th-peg.  Includes original head, 5th-peg, its original 5-string case and case pocket goodies.
