Fingerboard Radius

A radiused fingerboard (cut to a 14” radius) is a custom option on any Huber Banjo, save the Sammy Shelor and Kalamazoo models on which it is standard.

To make a radiused board, a thicker fingerboard is installed and the edges are bevelled so that it assumes the 14” radius, as is common for guitar fingerboards. Many players whose style is more modern prefer a radiused board, as do many players who also perform on guitar.
