On our stock models this nameplate will have the model name engraved, but a custom nameplate can be created for a custom order that includes your name – or any other name or phrase that will fit in the allowable space.

Many new Huber owners choose this simple option as a way to personalize their new banjo, even if they don’t want a heavily customized instrument.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Radius Fingerboard”][vc_column_text]A radiused fingerboard (cut to a 14” radius) is a custom option on any Huber Banjo, save the Sammy Shelor and Kalamazoo models on which it is standard.

To make a radiused board, a thicker fingerboard is installed and the edges are bevelled so that it assumes the 14” radius, as is common for guitar fingerboards. Many players whose style is more modern prefer a radiused board, as do many players who also perform on guitar.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Speed Neck”][vc_column_text]The speed neck is a popular choice, where no finish is applied to the back of the neck.

This makes for a much smoother neck surface, that feels faster under your hand. The appearance of the neck, without stain or finish where the thumb rests, can be visually jarring at first, but is the choice of professional players.

For new Huber owners who expect to use the banjo outdoors or under stage lighting, the speed neck offers a comfortable feel withoutthe tendency of the finish to “grab” the thumb or side of the hand while moving up and down the neck.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Wide Neck”][vc_column_text]Both our Sammy Shelor and Ron Block models are made with a slightly wider neck. These pros find that they can move more comfortably on the fingerboard with a little more space between the strings.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][/vc_accordion][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” css_animation=””][vc_column][qbutton size=”big_large_full_width” target=”_self” font_weight=”” text=”Visit Customizations Page” link=”/custom-huber-banjo”][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
